Summary: Sweetser is seeking a highly motivated LCSW or dual licensed LCSW/LADC to join the clinic based therapy team in their Lewiston office. As a Sweetser clinic based clinician, you will work as part of a team providing outpatient services to a diverse client population in a fast paced work environment and have the support of staff to manage your scheduling and billing- allowing you to focus on client care. Sweetser clinicians have access to excellent clinical supervision and work as part of a multi-disciplinary team providing clinical services to clients experiencing a variety of behavioral health issues ranging across the lifespan. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Provide customer service within established deadlines, consistent with organizational values, standards, and policies. Demonstrate leadership in case-coordination. Complete timely, professionally written, intake assessments. Manage insurance authorizations in a fiscally responsible manner. Use quality Collaborative Documentation to maintain insurance required documentation. Schedule clinical appointments to meet the clinical needs of the client. Use organization s established tools and procedures to formulate assessment. This includes level of care and risk assessments as needed. Involve family members and significant others as needed to establish a diagnosis. Develop an individualized service plan with the individual and natural supports. Offer trauma informed other best-practice clinical techniques and therapies. Identify concrete service needs and provide integrated treatment with the client s natural supports and providers to demonstrate best-practice. Provide a clinical experience for student interns and conditionally licensed therapists as appropriate.
PRODUCTIVITY: 65% of forty (40) hours.
EDUCATION: Master s degree in Social Work or Counseling with a concentration in clinical practice from an accredited graduate school. Other specific training or experience may be required based on the community needs at the time of each specific hiring episode.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: Appropriate State of Maine licensing certificate (LCSW, LCPC) independent licensure preferred. LCSWc, LCPCc, LADC considered if less than six months of supervision required. Maintain a valid state driver s license.
EXPERIENCE: Subject to the community needs at the time of the specific hiring episode, preferred applicants will demonstrate clinical experience in the areas of: Mental Status Assessment and Comprehensive Assessment, Clinical Writing Aptitude, Case-Conceptualization, Treatment design, adherence to efficacy of Evidenced-Based Treatment, Trauma Informed practice, and case collaboration skills.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS: Demonstrated competence in discipline.
