We are seeking a Women's Health or Family Nurse Practitioner (WHNP or FNP) to work with a dynamic group of well-established Nurse Practitioners caring for Obstetrical and Gynecological patients.
The Women's Ambulatory Nurse Practitioner / APN will:
* Assesses patients under the direction of the collaborating physician. * Perform comprehensive physical examinations, including ordering, interpreting and evaluating diagnostic tests and examinations * Provides continuous, and personalized care to patients in a busy clinic setting. * Gives patient care directions to other nursing staff members, following established standards, policies, and procedures. * Consults with other specialists as needed. * Establish and document the health care plan, diagnosis and maintain records of each case in EMR. * Consistently demonstrates the knowledge, skills, abilities, and behaviors necessary to provide superior and culturally sensitive service and care. * Facilitate the referral of patients to the appropriate departments, and resources within the organization. * Provide educational plan which promotes quality patient care.
* BS and MS in Nursing in an Advanced Practice Field with CDS and DEA. * Current/valid license as a Registered Nurse and is an APN-C in the state of New Jersey. * Minimum of two (2) years APN experience in an OB/GYN practice preferred * CPR Certified * Demonstrates skill in the following: * The ability to work independently in emergency situations * Critical thinking * Bilingual (Spanish) helpful but not required.
