Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, is seeking a Laboratory Researcher III for the Department of Pharmaceutics. This position works in the area of biomedical sciences and drug development. The laboratory is active in the areas of cancer, pain and analgesics, CNS delivery, subcutaneous delivery, anti-infective agents, pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics of small and large molecule drugs. The successful applicant will join a well-established, diverse and collaborative translational research team, and have access to the resources of a major research university.
Among the key duties of this position are the following: * Helps facilitate preclinical and clinical research in the laboratory. * Responsible for study protocol preparation and facilitation of study procedures, institutional review board application (IRB) and animal protocol (IACUC) preparation, assistance with preparation of documents for grant submissions. * Serves as a liaison between lab-based researchers and clinical collaborators throughout Rutgers affiliated sites and helps organize clinical studies including subject enrollment, supply access, and administrative support. * Helps perform biomedical laboratory research activities in close interaction with undergraduate and graduate students and post-doctoral fellows, including bioanalytical procedures, cell culture experimentation, molecular biology, etc. Associated topics: doctoral, drug discovery, fellow, laboratory, postdoctoral, professor, research, research fellow, scientist, toxicologist
