The Analytics Summer Associate will work on projects and generate insights that enable Pfizer to tackle the most critical business decisions within Pfizer Biopharmaceutical Group. The Analytics Summer Associate will deliver analysis and support decision making in areas as diverse as pipeline development, brand strategy and commercial execution. Projects may be global, regional, or local in nature, could involve multiple Pfizer business units and may require the use of a diverse set of analytic skills including primary and secondary market research, decision analysis and data science.
Most often as part of these engagements, the Summer Associate will be integrated into a team consisting of both analytic and business unit colleagues. Additionally, he/she will have various opportunities to engage with fellow Summer Associates, product and portfolio managers and senior leaders. Summer Associates will be matched with a senior leader advisor and a mentor to provide additional support during the program.Where will I likely focus?
What do I need?
- US and/or Global Customer and Market Analytics - Informing brand strategy, tactical execution, and promotional material development
- Global Commercial Development Analytics - Guiding early stage global brand strategy and lifecycle planning
- R&D Asset and Portfolio Analytic Decision Support - Delivering decision analysis, R&D productivity analytics, and portfolio/therapeutic area strategy support
Candidates must be enrolled in a full time MBA program and possess an undergraduate degree with 3 years of work experience. The Analytics Summer Associate will be highly proactive, work collaboratively with other groups, exhibit an exceptional analytic mindset, intellectual curiosity, and strong attention to detail. Most importantly, the Summer Associate will have a strong desire to deliver impact for the business and for the patients we serve.
Previous consulting, pharmaceutical or healthcare experience is desirable, but not required. Students must be authorized to work on a full-time, permanent basis in the U.S.
