This position is best suited for a nurse practitioner (NP) or physician assistant (PA) with urology experience to join our multi-specialty team located at MelroseWakefield Hospital, located less than ten miles north of Boston. The position will be primarily inpatient based. Plan the delivery of safe, therapeutic, population-specific patient care through assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation Assesses health status of patients in ambulatory and acute care settings, through physical examinations and review of medical history Works collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to promote wellness and optimize patient outcomes Participates in the design and implementation of individualized management plans in collaboration with physician Prescribes medication and initiates treatment in collaboration with physician Familiarity with GreenLight# Laser PVP or Focal Therapy preferred, but not required Assists, on an as needed basis, in other areas such as inpatient care and consultation services. Current certification in BLS required Other: Ability to be credentialed consistent with the Medical Staff by-laws, required. Job Type: Full-time #
