Job DescriptionOutpatient Therapist (Licensed)Families Matter, Villas NJ 08251
Hours/Schedule:30 hours per week, Fee-For-Service. Two nights (scheduled client hours until 7:30pm) required, flexible schedule of days/times.
Position Description:The Outpatient Therapist provides psychotherapeutic services and care coordination to clients who are referred through a variety of sources including self-referred, court mandated, and referred by contracted entities.
Education Required:A Master's degree in the human services field from an accredited college. New Jersey LPC, LCSW, LMFT required.
Experience:The Outpatient Therapist must possess a New Jersey state license. A minimum of one year's experience providing mental health counseling is required.
Technology Required:Applicants must be comfortable using an electronic medical record (training provided), ability to check and respond to email throughout the day, ability to utilize email and cell phone to coordinate care in and outside of the office as appropriate to client care.
Job Duties:Provides initial intake assessment and accepts clients assigned by the agency for treatment.Responsible for the care planning, ongoing assessment of treatment needs, and case management of assigned clients with treatment plans updated as per agency timeframes.Responsible for managing their case load through an agency specified care log.Coordinates treatment with other treatment providers in office, and other services providers/referral sources in community, when appropriate.Documents sessions and care coordination in the EMR within agency specified time limits.Maintains appropriate credentials required by the licensing and certification boards of their professional disciplines, 100% of the time.Attends Group Supervision on a weekly basis as well as weekly individual supervision.Maintain and submit agency payroll time sheet on a biweekly basis.
Agency Strengths:Families Matter is a treatment team oriented agency with strong supervision and offering a flexible work schedule for FFS clinicians. Additionally, FFS clinicians are staff and not a 1099 Independent contractor providing more support and protection to FFS clinicians than 1099 status.
