As a Home Infusion RN, your main responsibilities will be as follows :-Provide a broad range of infusion therapies to patients in their homes, and treating them with compassion.Being able to help patients recover in the comfort of their own home, by using experience and personal touch. Provide one-on-one home infusion nursing care visits and patient education in accordance with the physicianâ€™s treatment plan. Participate in on-call rotation as indicated by staffing and needs.Use of brilliant written and verbal customer service skills to interact with the patients, physician, pharmacist and other partners.
Experience Required :-2 years of Nursing experience.A minimum of 1 year's experience with the hi-tech nursing team to administer IV medication.Experience with Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook and Word to register and track patient care activity.Experience in Pediatric care highly preferred.Acute care, home infusion/home healthcare experience.
Certifications/Licences :-Current, valid License in the state of GeorgiaHaving a current CPR certificationPossession of a valid and current Driverâ€™s License and Auto InsuranceCRNI certification: Receiving continuous training to get certified in the leading edge technology and clinical requirements in Specialty Infusion (Certification and re-certification expenses can be reimbursed for eligible Certified Registered Nurse of Infusion (CRNIÂ®).Additional licensure may be required in multi-state service areas
Education :-Diploma, Associate or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
Work Schedule :-Approximately 20 to 25 hours weekly based out of Lawrenceville, visiting patients in the Greater Metro Atlanta areas which may require travel of a 2 hour radius (paid travel time and mileage reimbursed).On-call rotation to be 1 night per week and 1 weekend per month, or as required.
