A hospital in Maryland is seeking a nurse practitioner who can provide locum tenens for approximately five days starting in late April, with chance of extension. The provider must have experience coving a level 3 NICU, they must be able to do full procedures, feel comfortable working independently, and be willing to work nights. Procedures include, incubation, UA/UV placement, ventilator management, arterial and venous blood drawing, urine and suprapubic catheterization, lumber puncture, needle aspiration, and chest tube placement. On a typical day, the provider can expect to see about 12-14 newborn patients per day. The provider will work a varying time schedule. This facility uses Meditech EHR and Neodata EMR.
